Employees helping out in the community

I quite frequently get notes or calls from customers who would like to single out and give praise to one of our employees as a result of the service they received. It's always nice to be able to pass these along to our staff and let them know that they're doing a great job and that they're appreciated. One such note came from Facebook last month from a local motorist who wasn't even yet a customer of ours. They had been travelling from interstate when they had an issue with getting their wheel off whist changing a tyre... enter young Brody Davies, an apprentice technician for us at Camden Valley Motors. Brody saw the motorist having trouble at the side of the road and stopped to give help. Realising that they didn't have the correct tools to get a stuck wheel nut off, Brody drove to his home, retrieved the correct tool and retuned to help out... It's one of the things that helped Brody win a well-deserved Employee of the Month award this month. It reminded me of one of the tennets that dad always used to drum into our teams as we spoke about customer service. He would say "It's the things you do, that don't have to do, that always make the difference when it's too late to do anything about it"... well deserved Brody. I'd also like to pass on a quick note to Jim and the Team at Marsden's Law Group... well done on achieving 50 years serving the Macarthur! You are certainly one of the iconic Macarthur brands and organisations. We're proud to be part of your Journey.
